Dim Sum @ Blossom Restaurant, Swiss Garden Spa&Resort Kuantan

Last Sunday, me and my family had our breakfast at The Blossom in Swiss Garden Spa & Resort, Kuantan. This restaurant served dim sum during the weekends, to avoid disappointment with vast human traffic, it's better to be there early says before 10am.

In Kuantan, there are not many nice dim sum places for breakfast and people usually go to MS Garden Hotel or Zenith Hotel that open just recently, avoid Zenith dim sum but that's another story.

This was my second time in Swiss Garden and wow they did good in surprising me with more than an ordinary dim sum menu. Why? They are serving "xiao loong bao" now! and it's really something hard to come by in Kuantan. Taste wise they are still some margin to left par with... say Ding Tai Fung or Dragon-i.

Nevertheless, Blossom do serve the ordinary prawn dumpling and siew mai as well..
Oh ya they have this spring roll in squid shape, just another gimmick on presentation but they will need to add more flavor to give it a kick.
Besides, they also have smoked duck dumpling but I'm disappointed with it because I can't taste the smoked duck.

Last but not least, thank god there is this Charcoal Egg Tart was there to save the day. I just can't get enough of it and I had all three tarts by myself! And I'm craving for it now! Uurggghh

Yesterday I'd lunch with Ms Mah and Ms Wong again, and they brought me to this Oriental Chinese Cuisine where they have very good deals for lunch time and price starts from 7.90 with beverage and NO TAX! yes NO TAX hehe.. Somehow I feel their cuisine have a touch of Nyonya.

Genting Palace Restaurant @ Genting Highlands

Normally most of the people will dine at Good Friends restaurant for dim sum when they're in Genting. But do you guys aware of that there's is also a Chinese restaurant which serves good dim sum as well?

I'd went to Genting Palace with my family last weekend to try out the dimsum and surprisingly most of the dish is good. It's located just next to the entrance of Genting Casino.

And let me bring you through what is must order and which is depend hahaha

Lor Mai Kai is a must! it just melt into your mouth yum yum
You can either order or not to order the braised beancurd roll coz it's not a big deal anyway =P
I found that the prawn dumpling is just so-so only
Same goes to Siew Mai
But not to say no to the egg tart, it's so soft and smooth and not to left out crispy of the puff!
Their Shanghai dumpling seems different than what we used to eat and the taste it's just moderate
Had also order the Scallop Rice Noodle, it's soft and the scallop it's huge but there's only 2 pieces hahaha
My dad and aunt loves the pork ribs and it's a bit spicy and the meat is tender enough ;)
Last but not least, where you needs to but this into your list! which is the "Wu Kok" omg the yam it's just fantastic and smooth and it will just makes you scream out loud and ask for more!

Lammeeya @ Damansara Uptown

The 1st Lammeeya I had it was last year in One Utama. And today they had more branches in Empire Subang and Damansara Uptown.

I'm not a lam mee fans but i love the lam mee in Lammeeya, the taste of the gravy is just different compare to those i tasted.
Found a lot new dishes in their menu and had ordered the Cahr Siew Bun, the taste it's not as I expected coz from photo it looks scrumptious! hmmph!
Ordered a ala-carte dishes as well, the sweet and sour pork is so so only due to, too much flour covering the meat. The vege is good, fresh and juicy.

Bukit Tinggi BBQ @ Bukit Tinggi, Pahang

Was invited to join Andy and friends for a seafood dinner at Bukit Tinggi and with no regrets by driving all the way to Bukit Tinggi as the food is fantastic delicious! Andy had mentioned as well that the owner do have his own "pattern" he only serve <10pax and he will actually chase customers which have a smaller amount. But if you are lucky and his mood is good, he will definitely serve you even you are just 4 pax ;)
Somehow you able to meet weird owner who will chase customer away, somehow you will find weird deco in the restaurant roof, where you can see a lot umbrella hanging on top with superstar signatures and wishes.

Yvonne lil nephew is such a cute lil handsome and yet cheeky boy, he is Seng Kiat, see how adorable he is

Ok enough with umbrellas and also Seng Kiat, let's see what good dish we gets here, the 1st dish to be serve is the stew rice. It looks a lil ewwww... but the taste is totally a wow! yummy! I got no idea how to explain the taste but it was truly taste fullest with essense of everything nice ;)

The next one will be the steam seafood in a 3 layers steamer, where you can find not only fresh clams, but fresh juicy prawns and also crabs!

After 2 interesting dishes, you must be wondering what is next, and here comes the lamb shank where the meat was so tender and also they homemade their mint sauce where it was irressitible!
We also got so lucky to try out the chef new recipe on this pig trotter and as usual, it never fail us hahaha.. the meat was tender and it was juicy enough
Me personally dislike chilly but I'm cool with cut chilli. Anyway, this green chilli was plant by the owner and had a bite on it and it was crunchy, maybe it's because own plant and there is no chemical fertilizer?! =P
Remember earlier we had this 3 layers steam seafood? well basically there is the essence of seafood under the pot and what they do with the essence is that they cook with vege and abalone mushroom. The taste is somehow fishy as the seafood taste is fishy hahaha
And last but not least, we also had a whole kampung chicken. To me, nothing special maybe I used to eat kampung chicken where my mum used to cook hahaha =P

Taste : 7/10
Value of money : 8/10
(for all this, it's only RM524 for 11pax)

Address: Follow the sign to Bukit Tinggi and it is just right behind the BHP petrol station.
