Seoulscape Bistro @ The Strand, Kota Damansara

Seoulscape Bistro - a new place for people to enjoy and experience the Korea culture of k-cuisine, K-pop and K-art *laugh*! It can also be a drinking and gathering space for  drinkers, kpopholics and designers.

Since oppa gangnam style became the hit of the year, Seoulscape Bistro is using the PSY attraction to lure customers with even better lunch deal.
Walking through the staircase with artistic graffiti on the wall.

We were seated after a warmth welcome by the waitress and presented with handmade menu crafted by recycle paper, pretty creative.

So what's  there for lunch with the RM10 promotion? A few choices were introduced by waitress and I picked the Kimchi Jjigae (normal price RM20) lunch deal RM10 + 7% tax, inclusive of a drink and dessert! worth it right?! Kimchi Jjigae is a stew-like korean dish, cook and braised with kimchi, mushroom, onions, pork and vegetables and it comes with a bowl of rice.
Not to forget they do serve Ban-chan as well which is the condiments. I'm not a fan of ban-chan unless they have anchovies *laugh*...

My colleague ordered a Kimchi Bokkeumbap (normal price RM15) it's actually kimchi fried rice with diced veg and meat. And yes it's RM10 + 7% with drinks and dessert during lunch!
Dessert for sharing. Chocolate biscuit with syrup.
They sell soju as well.
and if you are a big fan for BIGBANG, they have can drinks(RM3.50) with BIGBANG photo! ehehe
The overall environment it's like a designer's cafe. You will see a few corners and wall decorated with photo taken in Korea, toys, mask, and more.

Summary: with the reasonable price, even-though the taste is not as good as chain restaurants but you will feel the effort and sincerity from the chef(korean) and waitress. Keep it up Seoulscape! Fighting!

Hwangsil Korea BBQ @ Damansara Neo, D'sara Perdana

Scratching head of what to eat and what I'd just did last week is that, I walk down from my apartment and walk across to Damansara Neo and try out a Korean BBQ which is Hwangsil Garden

At first I thought not many people would know this place since it looks pretty isolated hahaha.. but who knows there's actually Korean who dine here.
The best thing in Hwangsil is that you can order 1 type of BBQ meat instead of 2 types! so I'd ordered a Pork Belly at RM25 and had grill it at another stove instead of in front of us and just serve us the pork belly once they had grilled it.
And before we are being serve with our pork belly we thought that we will not be serve with their regular appetizer/cordinments but we were wrong and ta~da~ they just serve along it when they serve the pork belly hehe..
 love this anchovies, it's crispy
 steamed egg is FREE

Besides the pork belly, we had ordered a Sundubu Jigae(hot soup with tofu) at RM18 and it comes with a white rice so we save up RM5 for one bowl of rice hehehe

At the end of dinner, we was served with watermelon and also a complimentary beverage which either a cinnamon tea or ice coffee and we had chose Cinnamon tea and it was soooo sweeet and it's rich with cinnamon taste.

Taste: 7/10

Bulgogi BBQ House @ The Strand Kota Damansara

One fine day, me and my babe Vicky and Yvonne had set a lunch date. They got no idea what to eat and I was craving for rice and something says Korean? so here comes my presence to Bulgogi, a very homie feel Korean restaurant. With the typical wallpaper deco and furniture.

As usual for Korean food, they will shower you with lotsa condiments but we went during lunch time so the maximum we can top up it's only 4 condiments =( and i love their anchovies! and their kimchi is damn zhng too!

My beef bimbibab! tasty and hot due to the hot pot! and the best part is the bottom of the hot pot burn partly of the rice, gives more aroma!

Ginseng chicken soup for Vicky Yap! and she claimed the ginseng is not strong enough and seems like the chicken stock boiled soup at home hahahaha.. but the chicken is damn huge portion.
 Heart shape egg pancake! cute!
Yvonne said this grape juice is very zhng!
 Beef bulgogi!
Dessert : a glass of sweet ginger drink with watermelon

Taste: 6/10
Value of Money : 6/10

Korean House @ SS2 PJ

Korean house serve a very reasonable or can say cheap price especially during lunch time where you can get a set lunch for RM9.90++ or RM19.90++ for a BBQ set lunch.
It's Wing's birthday yesterday, so all of us had decide to Korean house for his birthday lunch.. Everyone ordered a set lunch set and we actually pinch on everyone's dish hehe...

We was served by having steamed egg as appetizer and it's free!
And they gave everyone a plate of oil which we got no idea what is it for
Soon, landed the side dishes! hehe.. this is what I like bout Korean food where we can get free re-fill side dishes =P
BBQ Set lunch of choice Beef or Pork and we got both
As usual in Korean cuisine we got a personal chef LOlx
and the outcome of BBQ Beef! the taste is alright but the meat is a bit too soft and all over
and here comes the BBQ Pork, meat is stills in good condition haha..
Nic get herself a bim-bim-bab
Besides BBQ set lunch the normal dish is like spicy chicken and it's really SPICY!!
you can't really tells which is chicken and pork coz we did order Spicy Pork too and it was SPICY as well.. but for this spocy pork/chicken, I personally prefer Ko-Hyang in Gardens coz the gravy is lil sweeter hehe...
Besides you can also have a sweet pork with it's fried till crunchy and covered with some sweet sauce
All of the set lunch is comes with a soup either Kimchi Soup or Wheat Soup aka Pan Mee soup claim the waiter hahaha for Malaysian easy understanding
I was craving for Korean typical sticky rice and finally I tasted it and I love it but a bit feel like kena con coz the price of this is RM40 for ala-carte!!! and I can get it cheape in Ko-Hyang The Gardens
There's egg in this sticky rice too and the egg yolk looks so srumptious!
Everyone are burping d and Alex got a bean curd soup where he ordered earlier and needs to be finished hahaha
Stomach is bloated and lucky all set lunch is serve with a dessert whereby yesterday dessert is Chilled Ginger Drink and it was refreshing after a heavy meal hehe
