Seoulscape Bistro @ The Strand, Kota Damansara

Seoulscape Bistro - a new place for people to enjoy and experience the Korea culture of k-cuisine, K-pop and K-art *laugh*! It can also be a drinking and gathering space for  drinkers, kpopholics and designers.

Since oppa gangnam style became the hit of the year, Seoulscape Bistro is using the PSY attraction to lure customers with even better lunch deal.
Walking through the staircase with artistic graffiti on the wall.

We were seated after a warmth welcome by the waitress and presented with handmade menu crafted by recycle paper, pretty creative.

So what's  there for lunch with the RM10 promotion? A few choices were introduced by waitress and I picked the Kimchi Jjigae (normal price RM20) lunch deal RM10 + 7% tax, inclusive of a drink and dessert! worth it right?! Kimchi Jjigae is a stew-like korean dish, cook and braised with kimchi, mushroom, onions, pork and vegetables and it comes with a bowl of rice.
Not to forget they do serve Ban-chan as well which is the condiments. I'm not a fan of ban-chan unless they have anchovies *laugh*...

My colleague ordered a Kimchi Bokkeumbap (normal price RM15) it's actually kimchi fried rice with diced veg and meat. And yes it's RM10 + 7% with drinks and dessert during lunch!
Dessert for sharing. Chocolate biscuit with syrup.
They sell soju as well.
and if you are a big fan for BIGBANG, they have can drinks(RM3.50) with BIGBANG photo! ehehe
The overall environment it's like a designer's cafe. You will see a few corners and wall decorated with photo taken in Korea, toys, mask, and more.

Summary: with the reasonable price, even-though the taste is not as good as chain restaurants but you will feel the effort and sincerity from the chef(korean) and waitress. Keep it up Seoulscape! Fighting!

Bistro à Table @ Section 17, PJ

Celebrated my birthday on a day earlier which is on 28th July. Kick off with a dinner at Bistro à Table at Sec 17 PJ. Actually I notice about Bistro à Table when I checked in to Decanter via foursquare quite sometime ago. But didn't even bother to check it out till Mike Lee highly recommend it. They change menu frequently.

Their interior is somehow interesting with dangling bulbs and decor. They open for events and functions bookings as well but this venue can only maximum holds up to 50pax for proper dining.

Their menu is unique and interesting as they do change menu weekly and it's a female chef. My fiancé is checking out their wine list and thinking of getting drunk lol

We was then served with a super soft baguette! love it so much and accompanied by the butter is just heavenly...

Start with a entrée Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum RM30

(Signature coddled maple syrup egg with Fleur de sel, crouton dust & asparagus and with its alter ego counterpart)

We was told to pour the tweedle dee on the shot glass and mix with the crouton dust, and it was really good!

We had another entrée of Gruyere souffle with Moreton Bay bug RM42 and it's my first time trying a souffle, it was soft.

Once we are done with the entrée, the chef then prepare our mains and I had the Australian lamb rack with polenta cake & candied citrus RM120
- the polenta cake with candied citrus is a good combination... yummy!
Eddy had a Rabbit & Bordeaux stew with duck-fat roasted kipfler potatoes RM64

-yea.. it's raaaabit meat and i don't like it maybe because of using Bordeaux =P

Here comes my birthday "cake"
Pakistani mango pavlova with white chocolate & bitter lime rind RM24
- love the sweet Pakistani mango and pavlova bites

Summary: love the environment/decor plus a special menu/recipe which I never tasted before.

Betty's Midwest Kitchen @ Aman Suria

Jeng jeng jeng... back to Betty's Midwest again and last Tuesday is my 4th times and had dine with Pam and Maggie and we had try out something else even how much Maggie missed the Pull Pork Burger hahaha...

We was given a complimentary Dog Food(fries with gravy and cheese) at RM9 it's because our previous visit we wanted to order it but the stove is not working so then was told we will get a compliment Dog Food on our next visit keke... The taste was a little cheesy and Maggie loves it!

We also crave for their pork ribs! yummmmmmy! it's the Soft Pork Ribs (400g) at RM29.50. It was really tender and the sweetness of the marination is fantastic! you'll definitely ask for more hehe...

We had also try out th Beer Boston Pork(marinate with beer, really!) at RM27.50 the meat it's really juicy and tender and don't worry you'll not get drunk after having this hahaha.. guess wart?! once you slice the meat, the meat will just melt!

All of us is pretty satisfy but still have some sweet tooth but not Maggie, co she does not like sweet stuff, so after awhile some digestion progress, me and Pam had decided to order a Apple Crumble with ice-cream at RM8. The vanilla ice-cream is so rich and the apple crumble is a bit warm and both combination is just awesome! and I have some models with the apple crumble too, check it out ;)

Pam with tiny boobies, opps =P
