Ben's General Food Store @ Bangsar Village (I)

Been to Ben's since last two weeks ago and been busy after that which makes me got no time to update my blog.

My first impression to Ben's is that they are like a high school cafeteria, where they have a salad bar and also the seating arrangement is a sharing long table, where you will feel warmth and full of surprises coz you will never know who is sitting next to you.

I love the cutleries holder and their mineral water bottle too, it's like in a country homes

And the area for the crew to refill water is cool! "drinking water, NO HAND WASH" hahaha
Ok done with some introduction and here comes my appetizer from the salad bar, combo selection of Pesto Penne(RM8.90) and Caesar Salad(RM11.90) so total up is RM20.90 and the portion is as below and the Caesar Salad is gorgeous especially for the toasted bread and not to left out the fresh lettuce!
My main course of the day is Breakfast Pizza, which it consist of egg, sausages, bacon and cheese. It's like you having a big breakfast in a pizza way ;) RM19.90 and the pizza cutter is cool, you needs to roll it and cut it yourselves, a good gimmick tho

Besides a General Food Store they do have a store next door selling imported groceries with nice concepts too

Betty's Midwest Kitchen @ Aman Suria

Jeng jeng jeng... back to Betty's Midwest again and last Tuesday is my 4th times and had dine with Pam and Maggie and we had try out something else even how much Maggie missed the Pull Pork Burger hahaha...

We was given a complimentary Dog Food(fries with gravy and cheese) at RM9 it's because our previous visit we wanted to order it but the stove is not working so then was told we will get a compliment Dog Food on our next visit keke... The taste was a little cheesy and Maggie loves it!

We also crave for their pork ribs! yummmmmmy! it's the Soft Pork Ribs (400g) at RM29.50. It was really tender and the sweetness of the marination is fantastic! you'll definitely ask for more hehe...

We had also try out th Beer Boston Pork(marinate with beer, really!) at RM27.50 the meat it's really juicy and tender and don't worry you'll not get drunk after having this hahaha.. guess wart?! once you slice the meat, the meat will just melt!

All of us is pretty satisfy but still have some sweet tooth but not Maggie, co she does not like sweet stuff, so after awhile some digestion progress, me and Pam had decided to order a Apple Crumble with ice-cream at RM8. The vanilla ice-cream is so rich and the apple crumble is a bit warm and both combination is just awesome! and I have some models with the apple crumble too, check it out ;)

Pam with tiny boobies, opps =P
ta~da~ with Maggie and my hair is so ugly right now hahaha

Betty Midwest Kitchen @ Aman Suria

Betty's Midwest Kitchen, as the name reveals, is dedicated to offering food as traditionally prepared and eaten by people of American heartland. It's homey food which are simple and hearty, yet tasty and nourishing. It's located at Aman Suria whereby it's the same row with Kayu Nasi Kandar.
The interior of the shop it's really cosy and homie feel and not to left out the Midwest! They have their open concept kitchen too.

They offer a range of the best of the Midwest cuisine, from light foods and soups (such as chicken noodles soups, sandwiches and burgers) to hearty meals (such as the classical meatloaf, pork chops, pork ribs, and pork bellies.)
Soup of the week. RM8 with macaroni and carrots. the taste of the soup is light and it's also gave me some homie feel that how the Spainish kick off their meal with a light soup and later on main course. It reminds me of my times in Spain.
Bacon Tomato Spagetthi, RM15. The spagetthi totally taste like bacon!
Pulled-Pork Burger, RM12. I thought that my bun might be flooded and went slimmy due to the gravy but it is not, and yet it was tasty and juicy!

The Bee @ Jaya One PJ

The Bee, it's looks like a coffee house but surprisingly it has a cozy ambient and food menu which I finds it, it's not a very heavy food to dine. Got a cappucino and the brand is Mokarabia from Italy. Never hear bout this brand before but the coffee taste is a oomph! but a bit too thick of caffeine coz it's double shot. love their cup too and look at the handle it's without a hole hahaha...

There's some modern retro props at the corner with their promo write up on it too... love the props and it's nice to have a fashion shoot ^^
As mentioned their menu it's very convincing and it's more to healthy dishes eventhough you are gonan order their list of burger!

I had a Caesar Salad which was shown in menu there is bacon bits but I don't taste any =( and guess wart this salad doesn't worth the money of RM12 and it's just a few pieces of lettuce =(
Jay ordered a Bee Burger where it comes with a 100% juicy beef hamburger and also with bacon, pickles, etc. i love the taste!

Wen Hao was a bit late and we was dining half way. He ordered a Hawaiian Burger where it's also a 100% juicy beef hamburger but this one it's comes with pineapple coz Hawaii ma hahaha, was told it's a bit too salty.
He also ordered a Lime Juice
As a finale, we ordered a Spainish typical dish Churros where anyhow it stills can beat Lava in 1U where they had the machine to make the dough as in the original taste of Churros when you have it in Spain! I still can remember the real Churros taste in Spain! Been there and tasted! and a Churros is typically serve on the 1st day of New Year to celebrate the New Year =) and we used to dip it with hot chocolate! yum yummm
