Mezza9 Restaurant & Bar @ Glomac Galleria, Desa Sri Hartamas

Thanks to Angelyn for the beautiful evening and also to Jimmy who sneak me in for this food tasting event.

Mezza9 brings you a whole new dining experience, concepts and designs out of Europe with Italian, French and Mediterranean fusion cuisines.

The food of the night was prepared by the award winning chef formerly from Sentidos Tapas, Starhill, Chef Sean Wong.
Mezza9 is named after the mezzanine floor that they have in the building. Their decor is much more on designer's furnitures and fittings.
The mezzanine floor is basically a bar where they do serve wine as well.
On the food tasting night, Mezza9 had invite a few bloggers along who is Michael Yip, Issac Tan, Evelyn Ang, Anna Bella Wong, etc
Well, I actually got no idea what is the exact name for all the dish, but I'll try to recall what Angelyn had told me hehe...

We start off with the appetizer the wild mushroom soup, taste a bit sourish and this is due to the wild mushroom and also other variety of mushrooms
another soup I'd tried is.... (I actually don't know what is  the name of it =P)
Besides, we do have Caesar Salad and Salad with Balsamic sauce, love both of it very much!
Mezza9 do have tapas size of appetizer as well, as you know we loves to order a few items for sharing, and this would be just nice for everyone ;)
Salmon bruschetta
Mushroom bruschetta (love the soft baguette and creamy mushrooms)
 Braised ox-tail (finger licking good)
Fried Calamari (i love squid =)
Meat Ball

After all the appetizers, actually we're kinda full... but there are more coming up which is the mains. And we have....
Pan-seared Salmon, loves the crispy salmon, especially the skin hehe...
Lamb Rack (medium rare) juicy meat and the marination is awesome!
Aglio-Olio and guess wart?! the chef have secret recipe of the hot olive oil! Do request if you need it ;)
Paella ala Malaysia style as it's spicy
 Chunky Beef Spaghetti Bolognese
I forgot which part of beef is this, definitely not a sirloin and their portion are really generous.

Finally, done with the mains and is dessert time! we have the puff with ice-cream!
and also the hot in the inside chocolate lava yumm yummm...

I would say the portion that Mezza9 serve is really generous with the awesome taste!

The price I have not get it, but will update once I got it, so that you guys will not missed it ;)

Ultimo @ Solaris Mont Kiara (August)

Again, I'm back to Ultimo for their pork satay! RM12
Tried out some new dish which is the firecracker prawn. The taste not bad and the popiah skin is deep fried crunchy with a touch of Thai chilli sauce. RM12
Tried the prawn and mango roll too where I don't taste the mango and the popiah skin seems toooo soft as in lembik! summore RM14
Got a smoked pork too and it was way too salty and I had informed the waiter to inform the chef as well regarding on this..  RM16
Too much meat right?! ok got a cauliflower, chickpea and kale and it was cook with some curry powder which the outcome is so weird and doesn't taste too well. RM8

Ultimo @ Solaris Mont Kiara

Ultimo a tapas bar and I thought it was a Japanese Restaurant at the 1st place and my actual destination for my dinner last night was to Meatworks but it was so pack and the ground staff was pretty rude so I just walk towards Ultimo as I saw their page in Facebook previously. Here I am to Ultimo! and the food was heavenly awesome which under my expectation.. clap clap you succesfully did wonders in the kitchen ;)

Ok here I am ordering various of Tapas, starts with the Pork Satay RM12. The pork was so tender and their satay sauce is so so so good!
look at the big chunk of pork satay and the sauce!
And next is the Bacon Croquettes RM8
I thought Bacon Croquettes it's like a big slice of bacon with some meat but it's not it's like bacon risotto, taste not too bad crunchy from the outside and awesome feeling for the inside hahaha...
Monte Cristo RM12 is the next and it sounds so canggih manggih "monte crtisto" sounds a bit like what casino dish is this like Monte Carlo haha but it's a sandwich where there's bacon and cheese and with the rosemary sauce it's just so good!
Here comes the Mushroom Risotto Balls RM12 and it's a two big fried mushroom ball.
But I don't really taste much of mushroom
I love their bread a lot and it's just RM2 for this crunchy and soft toast baguette, yummm love it!
Here comes the last dish which I don't find it so good, Eggplant and Curry Fritters RM12
There's too much flour in it and a bit too oily, not a recommended dish from me =)
Overall this restaurant the first impression is so-so coz it's just a small shop in between others but when you have the first bite of the food, you'll definitly feels it's worth it and don't under estimated the outlook but the food is superb!
