Fresca Mexican Kitchen @ The Gardens

Last week, Yvonne, Roger and I went to Fresca and it's a new Mexican restaurant in town and it's really something niche in the market.

Fresca is located next to Han Room in The Gardens and they had took over the lots from M Concept store.
Fresca can accomodate approx. 100pax with the huge area they have
They also do have a room to cater for a smaller function sitting approx. 40pax
Fresca means fresh in Mexican so Fresca serves you only the fresh ingredients and the best in town!
With the recommendation of Meng Jan(the owner) we had our beverages of Hibiscus(taste a little sourish), Horchata(taste like coconut), Mango
We also had a few tapas for sharing which is Chille Rellenous @ RM30, it's a green pepper bell stuff with some rice and after baked, the taste is good and not as bad as I thought it was by it's look hahaha.. love the sauce accompanied with it.
Tacos Ensenada @ RM19.00, it's a wrap with vegetables and fish fillet
Camarones al Ajillo @ RM24.00, shrimp in olive oil and also it comes with something like tori prata, you can do your own wrap or anyway you wish to enjoys it and I had it like a bread and dip with the olive oil from the shrimp
Hongos Rellenous @ RM18.00, bruschetta with creamy mushroom, love the taste of it
Calamari Fritos @ RM15.00, love the sauce they had for the fried squid, it's a perfect match!
Even what we had order is not a lot but it's so filling. And for the finale, we had dessert which is Churros con Chocolat @ RM13.00, their churros is really taste authentic and it's crunchy and the best part of this, their chocolate dip is chilled, a perfect blend for a warm churros with chilled chocolate.
Roger had a Flan de la casa @ RM14.00, I don't really fancy flan but Roger does and there's a juice to cleanse your mouth after eating the sweet flan.

Our total bill after 10% discount by Meng Jan is RM166.50

Tokyo Kitchen @ Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara

Spotted this restaurant when I was passing by and also meeting a friend and finally today I went to try it out since they are offering set lunch! Their decor just catch my eye ^^
Love their interior decor, it just makes you feels comfortable and they do sell handmade items at every corner.
relaxing ambient and decor
items for sale and most of it it's handmade accessories, fiber cloth, etc
They almost have a little decor here and there and even they have a table mat and some personal touch decor even on the tray, pretty amazing isn't?!
Oh well enough for all the decor which just wow me once i step into the restaurant, their set menu comes with 2 different type of dish where you can try on different things in just a single order.

Like mine, I'd ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Don + California Maki set and it's only RM13.80 come with a glass of green tea, even the taste of the teriyaki chicken doesn't taste authentic japanese sauce flavors but due to the nice environment and a affordable price. I would say... I will be back ;)
My colleague he had ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Don + Hot Udon and it also served with green tea and he gets a chawamushi (RM13.80) but I get a miso soup for my set hmmmm...

Mezza9 Restaurant & Bar @ Glomac Galleria, Desa Sri Hartamas

Thanks to Angelyn for the beautiful evening and also to Jimmy who sneak me in for this food tasting event.

Mezza9 brings you a whole new dining experience, concepts and designs out of Europe with Italian, French and Mediterranean fusion cuisines.

The food of the night was prepared by the award winning chef formerly from Sentidos Tapas, Starhill, Chef Sean Wong.
Mezza9 is named after the mezzanine floor that they have in the building. Their decor is much more on designer's furnitures and fittings.
The mezzanine floor is basically a bar where they do serve wine as well.
On the food tasting night, Mezza9 had invite a few bloggers along who is Michael Yip, Issac Tan, Evelyn Ang, Anna Bella Wong, etc
Well, I actually got no idea what is the exact name for all the dish, but I'll try to recall what Angelyn had told me hehe...

We start off with the appetizer the wild mushroom soup, taste a bit sourish and this is due to the wild mushroom and also other variety of mushrooms
another soup I'd tried is.... (I actually don't know what is  the name of it =P)
Besides, we do have Caesar Salad and Salad with Balsamic sauce, love both of it very much!
Mezza9 do have tapas size of appetizer as well, as you know we loves to order a few items for sharing, and this would be just nice for everyone ;)
Salmon bruschetta
Mushroom bruschetta (love the soft baguette and creamy mushrooms)
 Braised ox-tail (finger licking good)
Fried Calamari (i love squid =)
Meat Ball

After all the appetizers, actually we're kinda full... but there are more coming up which is the mains. And we have....
Pan-seared Salmon, loves the crispy salmon, especially the skin hehe...
Lamb Rack (medium rare) juicy meat and the marination is awesome!
Aglio-Olio and guess wart?! the chef have secret recipe of the hot olive oil! Do request if you need it ;)
Paella ala Malaysia style as it's spicy
 Chunky Beef Spaghetti Bolognese
I forgot which part of beef is this, definitely not a sirloin and their portion are really generous.

Finally, done with the mains and is dessert time! we have the puff with ice-cream!
and also the hot in the inside chocolate lava yumm yummm...

I would say the portion that Mezza9 serve is really generous with the awesome taste!

The price I have not get it, but will update once I got it, so that you guys will not missed it ;)
