Waroeng Penyet @ The Curve

A typical Indonesian food where all their dishes of course they gonna penyet it hahaha... and they have this super hot chilli which will makes you cry but don't worry I found a remedy which can help to cure the hotness, where get the kicap manis and mix wif their hot cpicy chilli so then the taste will be better hehehe...

It's a self-service restaurant so you require to queue up and order

And they will give you a number and ask for you patience

Meanwhile the drinks is serve fast so you can enjoy their teh botol which is a typical drink from Indonesia.. it taste weird like some heavy Jasmine taste but after a few sip you will get used to it ;)

So it's my second visit and I love spicy food, so as usual will go for their typical Ayam Penyet!

And they do have Ikan Promfret Penyet too... but I personally don;t really like mayb it's too dry hehe...

Not to missed out their keropok and dip with kicap manis too ^_^

Yuzu Japanese Restaurant @ The Gardens

A fine nice atmosphere Japanese restaurant.  It's like you have your own area or corner when you dine coz their interior it's just so private type of feeling but it's not tense feeling so don't worry. Their food selection is good and been there for quite number of time and most of time have the same dish hehe...

Whenever I visit a Japanese restaurant I will not miss out by ordering something with soft shell crab, so I ordered this but I don't really like it due to the texture it's too soft and I don't taste the soft shell crab...

And also a soft shell crab temaki

Something soupy makes the day warm, tempura soba!

Besides Tempura Soba their bento set is good too... Where I had this mmm bento wif unagi sushi and their unagi sushi is so darn huge and the ungai is so darn yummy!

Was cheated to order this Australia White Aspargus thingy and it cost RM60 just for few piece of vege, bloody hell next time don't let the manager to recommend.

Wagyu cube which is just a nice combination with their pan fried Foie Gras, it's so tender and mmmmm mm =)

Check out their Pan Fried Foie Gras, this is a must have dish in Yuzu coz I'd tried so many places but no other can beat Yuzu way of prepare the Foie Gras. Superbly irresistable! Below is the 1st time I had their foie gras it's 100g and what a big piece and after a week I go again...

It shrink to half of the size! so sad but what can I say???

And the 3rd time I had it.. oh.. my... I don't even wana take photo of the size of it... it's getting thinner and thinner.. I wonder why as well... and you still paying the same price RM120 for 100g but as I said irressistable! =P

Max's Kitchen @ Jalan Jati Off Bukit Bintang

Heard bout how good is Max and so on and now I celebrated by birthday in Max's Kitchen and it's a stand alone bungalow where it's pretty hidden I should say but it's not that difficult to find as well coz they had a lot of banner lead you in once you at Jalan Jati.

It looks like a merging of a lifestyle furniture shop with Max coz all the furniture there is actually on sale as well.

We start ordering a Savignon Blanc and I turn red and dizzy after half glass while my main course not even serve yet..

Next we start with Roasted Beet Salad. There's this fried cheese and eat along wif the beet and I thought the cheese will be taste superbly milky busuk cheese smell but in fact it is not, due to i'm a very cheese person so a bit afraid when I see such big chunk of cheese hehe...

And not to miss out the scallop

And we order foie gras with duck liver as well to try on but honestly been trying a few restaurant for the way they prepare foie gras nothing can beat Yuzu @ The Gardens and the duck liver is the thing i hate most haha... get some bad experience back in Spain 7 yrs ago... my.. my..

Finish this fast and we can move on our main course haha... where I had wagyu cheek and this is tooo tender d till I don't really like it.. it's super melt into your mouth and slippery feel.. a but geli actually XD

And he had  lamb shank!!! this is good!

And my so call birthday cake is bruleee!! yay yay.. actually it's a desert convert to be a cake LOLx

Frangipani KL

Celebrated my belated birthday in Frangipani was told that it will be a "la feit" dinner but end up go Frangipani only, and I don't care I still want my "la feit"!! haha...

A nice cosy place like a mansion, a real mansion like you lost in a maze. The entrance to the restaurant is like a trick maze because you wouldn't know that right behind the reception counter is actually a door but not a wall, that really amaze me with their architecture.

Once you get in, you'll see a nice beautiful dimmed square perimeter with a mini pool in between and tables was around it.

The table setting...

And they start with serving bread where I can't resist when I see a bread and their bread is awesome with the butter along.. oh my....

Next move on with appetizer where I found it's like non stop serving... and this is complimentary as I remember I did not order..

Next we had Torched Prawn Carpaccio With Crunchy Vegetable Brunoise, Dried Miso, Dried Black Olives and Chilled Tomato Juice. (don't ask me why they had such a long name coz I found out all of it is long....)

Next we had Soft Potato Blinis with Sour Cream, Moluga Caviar, Lemon and Cauliflower Black Truffle Foam.. (me myself personally dislike this coz the caviar taste yiks! like a bit sake pulling feel and need to eat the sour cream along.. oh my.... and i move on changing with my firned to scallop)

Drummm roooollllll..... for Pan Roasted Porcini Powder Dusted Hokkaido Scallop With Half Cooked Potato Sliced, Seared Porcini Mushrooms and White Gazpacho Vinagrette. This is fantastically awesome!!! i miss the taste... sob sob...

After the appetizer, they serve our most wanted to try Pan Seared Foie Gras With Apple Rendang Served as Rendang. Never see such presentation of foie gras before with strudels and you think that you will smash the whole strudel down when you wana eat it along with foie gras but it will not so don't worry and cut it ;)

Next get a complimentary item again, which is a sorbet to cleanse your mouth with all irritated rendang taste XD

After all this appetizer and starters you can't even finish your main course but we have to else it gonna waste food and money... So i had my most wanted Wagyu Cheek and the chef is being so generous by giving me such a big piece. Tender and mmmmm mm!

And my friend had Pan Roasted Duck Confit With Mustard Cream and Mashed Potato on a Crisp Potato Couronne. Love the texture and it taste like no other duck XD

After all this I feel so darn sick coz I think i sip on the white wine with my empty stomach and I quickly to the toilet and I wana leave immediately and soon after I got such a surprised where the waiter he say a burthday song and came back of me and I was like wht the.... but it's ncie after all =) and nice arrangement for the "cake" haha...
